GRILLED TROUT WITH THYME AND FRESH LIME
INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE:
• 2 trouts
• 1 fresh lime
• 2 cloves of garlic
• 2 or 3 tablespoons of dry or fresh thyme
• 4 tablespoons of olive oil
• salt, pepper
1 • Scale and ladder your two fresh trout and wash them thoroughly with clear water.
2 • Grate off half of the lime zest, the juice of this half lime and cut the other in thick slice halves.
3 • In a medium bowl, put your olive oil, 2 large tablespoons of thyme, crushed garlic, some pepper and lime juice. Mix to get busy marinated with lot of thyme.
4 • Salt a lot inside of trout, stuff your marinade and add lime slices in each trout. Finish the marinade on the trout skin. Let stand an hour or two to the fridge.
5 • Heat your oven in grill (450°F) mode and place the trout on the grid and sprinkle the rest of the thyme.
Watch cooking that takes 10 to 15 minutes turning halfway through!
Enjoy with a drizzle of fresh lime and a light rice.
